Hi there! We’re Craig & Tracy Blake, the owners of Doe River Landing. Now I know you all are wondering how did we get here? It’s an interesting story, but our family have been campers for as long as we can remember. We’ve camped in every type of trailer, pop-up, tent, truck-camper, van, boat, RV, and cabins across the USA. Our vacations were spent on the road and our children (3 daughters!) had the same up-bringing. We’ve come to learn what we like in camping and I guess it’s only natural to now take the next step and own a campground. Yes, my family thought we were nuts! But they all bought into the idea and when opportunity knocked, we opened the door and took our next big adventure. We’ve learned what we like about campgrounds and we’re applying that experience at Doe River Landing. We’ll treat our guests just as we would like to be treated. We wanted to create an experience that balanced the modern amenities of today with the natural surroundings of Roan Mountain.

And if you haven’t been to Roan Mountain, then add it to your bucket list! This area has most scenic hiking trails, gorgeous rhododendrons, close to Bristol speedway & Hard Rock Casino, within mins of Sugar & Beech Mountain skiing, multiple wineries, close to Boone & Blowing Rock, and even less than 2 hours from Gatlinburg & Dollywood.
